Produced in 2017, this project in collaboration with architect Giona Bierens de Haan explores the fusion between functional design and the presence of plants. The bar is built around plants integrated into the very structure of the furniture. Thanks to a discreet irrigation system, the greenery becomes an integral part of the space, transforming the bar into an island of nature. UV lighting adds a modern touch and reinforces the immersive atmosphere of this small indoor ecosystem. The fluorescent Plexiglas tables designed by Shizuka Saito add a dynamic touch that contrasts with the mineral material of the terrazzo table.
