With a name that invites the imagination, the café de la plage is not located on the water's edge. Located in Geneva's Grand Théâtre, the project involved the design of a number of partially removable counter elements, forming a neat whole with its own identity, offering an invitation to wander towards the sandy shores.

Colors, materials and motifs echo the world of opera, reflecting a new-found harmony. The beach and its stripes: those of Italian palace parasols, Breton marinières or elegant pleated skirts.

A meeting point between the Opéra public and passers-by looking for a coffee, the beach theme and its codes are reflected in the collective imagination of the furniture: tables, chairs, counters and structures resonate with the recently renovated emblematic heritage sites.
